Moody Mondays | Keys And Cabernet
I composed this still-life using an old bottle of Cabernet-Sauvignon, an antique leather camera case, and a Smith-Corona automatic typewriter that belonged to my grandmother. The typewriter still works and came with a carrying case, but was damaged some time ago. The ink ribbon is still good after being out of use for nearly twenty years which I found pretty remarkable.

It is pretty interesting how you look at the photograph and automatically think that it is very good, but without realizing exactly what is on the photo. Of course it is clear there is a typewriter and a wine bottle, but I missed the old antique camera case.
Overall nice photo, has the photo been manipulated to create depth of field effect or is it the original photo?

The photo was taken with the Instagram app for my iPhone 4 and a focus blur was applied to the image at the time of shooting to direct attention.
