Captain Morgan BLACK Commercial
Late last year I reported on the new direction of Captain Morgan’s commercial marketing “To Life, Love and Loot” campaign, with much awe and excitement.
It’s with no surprise that I’m back again to rave about the latest video, this time promoting Captain Morgan Black, a “darker, more flavorful” version of the popular spiced rum.
Once again the commercials suggest a brilliant and romantic swashbuckler narrative that break traditional expectations with heavy modern rock riffs, this time again by the Black Keys. The casting is the same, but I’m having trouble finding out if Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech) is returning in his role as the director.
Additionally, Captain Morgan has launched an interactive music video on Facebook to coincide with the new rum. I don’t want to spoil it for any of you cause it’s pretty interesting, and well shot. Click here to check it out on Facebook.
It also might be worth mentioning that actor playing Captain Morgan’s brother allegedly commented on my first post (Click here and check out the comments section). Take it with a grain of salt, there’s no way of verifying it.
Additionally, the label is super sexy and looks even better on the bottle.
